ConnectEd Education Conference 2020

ConnectEd is an educational conference hosted by Surbiton High School
and it is driven by one very important “BIG” question:

Will UK students be globally
competitive in 2030?

Now is a crucial time to reflect on what is to come for our students and what the workplace of their future will look like.

How will 5G, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Virtual Reality (VR) affect the skill requirements needed for work and how will it change the way they learn and the way we teach?

How will the information revolution affect the way our students contribute to society as a whole?

If we are preparing them for bright, happy and prosperous lives, these seem like necessary questions to explore. The conference is split into 3 key pathways, giving you the power to create a bespoke day according to your own passions and preferences. If you are a forward-thinking School Leader, Governor, School Trust Member, Classroom Teacher, Pastoral Leader or Head of Department who wants to ensure the talents of your students are being ‘ConnectEd’ to their future, then this is a day you’re going to absolutely love.
